Really? Darnit -- I threw them in the compost yesterday! The radishes, however, were WONDERFUL! I've been out of town for the past two weeks, so this was the first of your veggies I had. Erik and I made a great salad last night -- so fresh and yummy.
Oh thank heavens. Sometimes I worry about the radishes. Such a small clump, so easily wilted and rubbery, neglected in the back of the fridge...but chopped up small in a salad, oh the lift they give those greens! It's like UMAMI or however you say the word...that 6th sense, that little something that turns something okay into RAVISHING (in this case RADISHING) goodness.
At least those greens will do you a good turn in another fashion, adding to soil fertility! Nothing is lost really! :)
